Because the various publishers keep upgrading their products it is always difficult to recommend one over another,  We have always used Norton ourselves and have supplied hundreds of copies to customers over the years.  However, recently, it's grown too big and clunky.  The latest Panda product probably has the edge at the moment.

WARNING  Most of the anti-virus suppliers enable you to download  their software from their websites.  90% of the time all will go well.  However a small proportion of downloads will go wrong.  To minimise problems uninstall existing anti-virus software before downloading new software.  You should also remove TMP files. remove any unnecessary files and defragment your hard drive.  IN OUR VIEW, IT IS USUALLY BETTER TO BUY THE RETAIL BOX FROM PC WORLD RATHER THAN DOWNLOAD IT FROM THEIR WEB SITE AS IT CAN BE A PROBLEM LOGGING BACK ON AND CONTINUING THE DOWNLOAD.
