Viruses and Spyware pose a real threat to PC users of all
types and sizes, particularly those who send and receive email.
We have built up extensive experience in detecting and
removing viruses over the years and can supply and install anti-virus
software (typically Norton Anti-Virus), remove viruses etc. and advise on
long term protection. Virus removal has become one of the
principle strands of our business.
Not only
can we remove viruses and advise you how to avoid them in the
future, we can help you set-up your email system to help
you avoid SPAM (unwanted e-mail) and Window pop-ups.
We will visit your site and do an initial scan and try to fix the problem on
site. However, virus removal can be time consuming and is often better
none in the workshop. In that case we will collect the PC, fix it and then
return it.
Cost: £32.50 per 30 minutes.
NOTE: Badly infected PCs can be difficult to clear completely. The best
solution is often to wipe your hard drive completely and re-load everything.
That can take up to 90 minutes to do. We will back up any important files,
scanning them thoroughly before copying them back. However, we will not
copy back infected files (or files which may be infected) so you may loose some
data.

products it is always difficult to recommend one over another, We have
always used Norton ourselves and have supplied hundreds of copies to customers
over the years. However, recently, it's grown too big and clunky.
